The closest major airport is Corpus Christi International Airport which hosts flights from all major cities across the US as well as international flights. From here you can easily hop on a bus, rent a car or use a door-to-door taxi service to get to the city with it being around a 45-minute journey away.

A fun way to travel to this location is with the ferry with Port Aransas Ferry System, which departs from Aransas Pass on the mainland 7-days a week and 24-hours a day.

Driving into Port Aransas is made possible via State Highway 361.

Atalanta is a very easily accessed city to get to. Being a hub of many attractions and activities it is a very popular location to travel to.

Many choose to fly into Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, which is known for being one of the world’s busiest airports. Boasting to offer non-stop flights from over 150 domestic destinations and 70 international locations, it is sure to have a route which suits you.

Other public transport options include taking the Greyhound bus service which stops at the airport, bringing people from all over the country, as well as the AMTRAK train with the Atlanta stop being situated between Midtown and Buckhead.

Being an inland city surrounded by major highways, driving in is also a good way to travel here if you have a car or have hired one. Depending on the direction you are coming from using routes I-85, I-75 or I-20 are the best ways to enter the Atlanta.

A scenic way to travel is with the San Francisco Bay Ferry arriving in Vallejo Transit Center with a connecting bus service, VINE Transit.

Amtrak offer a service via the San Joaquins train stopping in Martinez station where you can then take the Amtrak Thruway Bus Route 7 to arrive at your destination.

Looking for relaxing and warm May vacation ideas? This is a lovely unspoilt destination and a great choice for a beautiful and tranquil May break. Ocracoke is a village on the charming Ocracoke Island which is part of North Carolina’s coastal Outer Banks region.

The scenery is quaint and picturesque and highlights include the historic Ocracoke Lighthouse which dates from 1823, the Ocracoke Preservation Society Museum which is set in an early 1900s house, pretty Silver Lake filled with bobbing boats, a harbor lined with shops and restaurants, and 16 miles of pristine beaches.

May is also quite a warm month to visit and temperatures average 24 degrees during this spring month.

The only way to get to this location is via boat. A free service can be accessed with Hatteras Ferry located off Highway 12, where as the other two services are tolled but may suit your departure destination better, The Swan Quarter Ferry for those arriving from the west and Cedar Island Ferry for those arriving from the south.

 If flying domestically, you can fly into Flagstaff or Prescott airports, each around an hour away, and drive or take local transport links. 

24. Miami, Florida – famous for offering the best spring breaks in the USA with live music, gorgeous beaches, and warm weather

An epic beach city with a sun-blessed coastline, sprawling downtown, live music scene, and wonderfully warm weather, Miami is the epitome of “Sunny Florida”.

With relatively warm temperatures and lesser rains, March to May is the best time to plan for a low-key and soothing getaway to Miami and South Florida.

While visitors can expect optimal temperatures in the 70s and mid 80’s during the dry season, a spring visit allows you to escape the peak winter rates.

Find one of the many amazing hotels in Miami, take a cool dip in the South beach, indulge in water sports, or get tanned while lounging on the wide beaches, the city offers a fine blend of history and arts.

Miami is one of the most popular and frequently visited cities in America, meaning that there are myriad ways to make your way to this one-of-a-kind hub of music, art, food, nightlife and culture.

Fly directly into Miami International Airport (MIA) from cities and countries all over the world, and then either take a cab, shared shuttle, or bus right into the heart of downtown.

Car rental is also of course available from the airport and in the city itself too, which is a great option if you’re looking to branch out from Miami and explore other nearby towns and highlights such as Fort Lauderdale, Jupiter, and the world-famous everglades.

America’s most diverse National Park, the Arches National Park holds unique sandstone arches, incredible sights, expansive desert valleys, wide blue skies, and much more.

One of my favorite times to be in the park in early spring. With sunny skies, comfortable weather, and gorgeous sunsets, the park has many family-friendly attractions for a fun adventure.

The daytime temperatures range from about 60-80 degrees, making it a perfect time to hike the longer trails of the park.

Hit on America’s National Parks Week, admire the scenery or take a scenic drive, the red rock state has some awe-inspiring vistas.

How to get to Arches National Park

Salt Lake City International Airport is the closest international airport to Moab, though Moab does have its own regional airport and there are domestic flights arriving at other regional airports, or you can fly into Denver International Airport, so it depends what is more convenient for you.

There are bus services from Salt Lake City that will take you to Moab, and the Rocky Monuntaineer train line goes through Moab.

  2. What a great list of places to visit in the USA in the Spring. Arches National Park is one of my favorites. In addition to Arches, the nearby city of Moab is a fun place to add to your trip. We actually plan to visit both Arches and Moab this May as a family.
