Marbella, Spain’s bastion of extravagance, is a great classic of the Andalucian coast. Standing centre stage is the ‘Golden Mile’, an eclectic compendium famed for its shiny restaurants and star-studded clubs.

During my visit, I was left in awe by Marbella’s natural scenery. Beyond the glitz and glamour, the landscape is sheltered by the Sierra Blanca mountains and comprises of white villages, flower-filled courtyards, pristine beaches, jaw-dropping sports complexes, and relics of Arab influences.
